The Holiday Season at the White House

"In their first-ever interactive White House Holiday card, the President and First Lady wish Americans a happy and healthy holiday season."

The Holiday Season at the White House

The White House is known as the “people’s house” and is open to the public for tours. During the holiday season, it is truly a sight to behold since it is decorated to be festive! Unfortunately, not everyone can make it to Washington, DC to see it firsthand. But, there are ways to experience the White House virtually, and get a feel for how it embodies the spirit of this special season.
Some highlights of this year’s theme, “A Children’s Winter Wonderland”:
  • 26 White House Christmas trees including the “Gold Star Tree” honoring military heroes who have lost their lives serving the country.
  • A 300 pound gingerbread house.
  • 3D printed ornaments from the winners of a national contest in conjunction with the Smithsonian.

And made especially for the American people, take a look at the first holiday greeting card from the First Family.

From those accounts, they reached emails that the president had sent and received, according to officials briefed on the investigation. White House officials said that no classified...
